Sometimes it takes more than buying furniture and home accessories from our shops to achieve “the Kellogg look” in your home, and that’s when our very talented design professionals step in with our custom design services – which is the best deal in town at just $250/room! This service offers the opportunity to have a beautiful home created especially for you by a designer who has an intimate understanding of The Kellogg Collection special appeal and classic aesthetic: fresh, uplifting colors, balanced design, and luxurious comfort are essential elements of our interiors. To us, there is no such thing as a project that’s too big or too small. And, thanks to our flat fee, you know you won’t be on the hook for percentage billing and hourly fees typically seen in the industry.
Using merchandise from our own collection, custom furniture and upholstery, designer fabrics and wallpapers, and an extensive selection of lighting, area rugs, carpeting and accessories, our designers create rooms that reflect not only our design philosophy but, more importantly, the personality and taste of our clients. From custom window treatments and cut-to-fit carpets to paint color and fabrics, our designers enjoy pulling every element of a room together. We simplify the design process because we have so many items in stock, ready for immediate delivery.

Diane Litz
Diane Litz is our design professional that works out of our Baltimore location. She has worked with The Kellogg Collection for 18 years, and has a tremendous fabric swatch collection in the shop to prove it!
“I strive to surround my clients with special things, especially a gorgeous fabric, as it can be the centerpiece for a great room. My goal is to meet the needs of my clients by transforming a room into a space that harmonizes balance and color. I find great fulfillment when a room comes together, combining the old and the new, and my client is fully satisfied.”

Polly McKenna
Polly McKenna does double-duty for Kellogg as she not only provides custom design services in homes in Richmond, but she manages our Richmond location, too. If you’ve ever walked into our Richmond store and fallen in love with the gorgeous vignettes, then you’ll probably enjoy her personal touch to your home!
“I try to create beautifully balanced rooms for our customers merging the lovely furnishings from our shops with their own pieces. My goal is to bring out the integrity of each item in the room. Negative space is just as important as space that is filled and allows the rooms to be beautiful and functional at the same time.”
